NORTH & EAST Africa

Geographically, the continent is well known for its magnificent physical features in the central belt (including Mounts Kilimanjaro, Meru & Kenya) and fantastic safari options (including the Serengeti, Lake Manyara & Tarangire National Parks alongside the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater) aswell as the brilliant beaches of the Indian Ocean, including those on the paradise isle of Zanzibar.

The two highest mountains in Africa are located in this central belt of Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro - Tanzania (Uhuru Peak - 5,895m) and Mount Kenya (Point Lenana - Kenya - 4,985m).

In the north-east of Africa, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain peak in southwestern Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 metres, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, North Africa and the Arab-Speaking World.

Within East Africa, we focus on Tanzania and Kenya for fabulous trek and safari adventures aswell as having access to fantastic beaches on the edge of the indian ocean.

In North Africa, we focus on Morocco for fantastic trekking in the Atlas Mountains, aswell access to the majestic Sahara Desert, alongside the ancient trading city of Marrakech.

A post trek safari is virtually a 'must' to include after a trek, as an adventure aswell as a celebration of everything you have accomplished at altitude, or as a solo activity. Safaris can typically run for 1-10 days.
